Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel
The Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel sits on natural bluffs overlooking a silky white sand beach and shares 1,839 acres of oceanfront paradise with the legendary Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. The hotel is built in a flowing contemporary Hawaiian style, with an open-air lobby that provides a sweeping view of the Kohala coastline. A predominant feature of the hotel site is the presence of a series of underground springs. In ancient times, during seasons of heavy rainfall, these springs would bubble to the surface creating natural artesian fountains. Thus the area was named "Hapuna" or "Spring of Life" in the Hawaiian language.
Your beautifully appointed guestroom offers a choice of two queen beds or a king, a private lanai, a mini-refrigerator, hair dryer and a coffee maker. Bottled water and coffee will be replenished as needed. While at the resort you can enjoy meal service in any one of five restaurants or pamper yourself at the state of the art Spa.
Mauna Kea Beach Golf Course
The incomparable Mauna Kea Golf Course offers golfers the perfect challenge to match their level of play. Created by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., the 18-hole championship course presents dramatic changes in elevation, large undulating greens, and 120 well-placed bunkers. There are incredible panoramic sweeps of sea and land, featuring snow-capped Mauna Kea , rugged lava beds, and the sparkling blue Pacific. One of the most spectacular features is the famous Third Hole...where surging inlet water races to meet the rocky shoreline, affording one of the most breathtaking views in golf today
Hapuna Beach Golf Course
In 1997, the U.S. Golf Association named Hapuna, "The Course of the Future." This Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay designed 18-hole championship course is nestled into the dramatic natural contours of the land from the shoreline to about 700 feet above sea level. It is a links-style course featuring spectacular views of the Kohala Coast and the Pacific, with snow-capped Mauna Kea volcano as a backdrop. Hapuna Golf Course has been called the most environmentally sensitive course in the Western region.

Pasatiempo's Golf Getaway
The Big Island , Hawaii
Hapuna Beach , Prince Hotel
November 13 -19, 2006
The youngest, largest and grandest of all of the Hawaiian Islands awaits your visit in October. With one of the world's most active volcanoes still adding land to the Big Island 's 4,038 square miles, the Big Island is twice as large as all the other Hawaiian Islands combined. But it is much more than simply land that sets the Big Island apart from the others; it is easily the most diverse, with distinct regions that have their own intrinsic charm. You can visit sugar towns, macadamia nut operations, the tropical, sun-swept sportsman's paradise of Kona, or the immense cattle ranches of Waimea
Although this trip is reserved solely for members of Pasatiempo Golf Course, Accent on Golf would be happy to plan a similar trip for your group.
